The 3rd annual Christmas camp is successfully behind us

Before the end of 2025, we hosted the 3rd edition of our Christmas basketball camp. A great way to wrap up the year was highlighted by the fact that the camp reached full capacity. Unfortunately, unpredictable events such as illness or injury sometimes occur, preventing several players, as well as one of the coaches (Honza Bodnar) from taking part in the camp.

On the first day, everyone gradually became familiar with the daily schedule. During the morning block, players rotated through stations where they worked on strength training, shooting, and individual 1-on-1 skills. Toward the end of the morning session, a shooting challenge also began, testing players’ abilities both in calm conditions and under time pressure. We then recharged during the lunch break in the lounge U Šedivce restaurant. After lunch, the first basketball quiz took place, testing the players’ knowledge. The most successful participants were Kubík Antoš, followed by Ondra Hromádko and Olda Vincent. After that, players were divided into teams for the Christmas League, and the first games tipped off. Showing great competitiveness and plenty of nice plays.

The second day followed a similar pattern to the first. We switched up the chant for the new day, warmed up properly, and jumped into the morning block. This day instead of a quiz, players took part in a mini workshop focused on shooting. They learned more about the most important aspects of shooting, how to handle pressure, and how to deal with frustration.

The third day was the absolute highlight of the entire camp. In the morning, we completed the shooting challenge, and after lunch, the second basketball quiz took place. Then came the final games of the Christmas League. Matches where every point mattered and the players set an exceptionally high standard. Very close margins, thrilling battles, and fights until the final second, simply everything that true finals should have. Even though some celebrated victory in the end, huge praise goes to everyone for the fighting spirit and commitment they showed throughout the camp.

At the end of the camp, we announced the individual awards:

• MVP (Younger): David Míča

• MVP (Older): Michal Nováček

• Hardest Worker: Mikuláš Sojka

• Shooting Challenge Winner: Ondřej Hromádko

1st place – Jakub Divíšek, Jonáš Janů, Dobroslav Marek (AS Monaco)

2nd place – Oldřich Vincent, Šimon Matrka, David Míča (Fenerbahce)

3rd place – Štěpán Vojtek, Michal Ivanič, Ondřej Hromádko (Panathinaikos)
